CULT CRIME BUNDLE - POSTPAID
BOTH records from this killer new Toronto outfit and comp LP featuring two of their songs for one postpaid (US/Canada) price.
V/A - Left Without Much Fuss LP
A punk record for punks who collect records. Ultimately a tribute to punk rock, this record was compiled to mark forty years since I first discovered the music in 1985, and fifty years since it all really began with the first Ramones album in 1976. Thirteen classic punk/hardcore/garage songs covered by old friends and Ugly Pop groups, all from the Toronto/Hamilton area. Including a huge booklet and additional insert packed full of punk obsessive stuff, it's a pretty ridiculous labour of love made for anyone who loves punk rock, punk culture, punk history, and punk record collecting.
Features Golden Shitters, Cult Crime, Drift Current, Street Code, Early Tombs, Thee Rogue Telstars, Ichi Bons, David Quinton & Back to Basics, The Vapids, and Last Drag. (UGLY POP UP082)
CULT CRIME - s/t 12"
First footlong from this new Toronto group, featuring nine cuts of snarling, hard-nosed punk that recalls 1981 hardcore on both sides of the Atlantic, seasoning classic LA a la Adolescents/TSOL/pre-Henry Flag with a dash of primo Blitz. No mere genre exercise, these are tough but memorable songs delivered with hooks and skill. 300 pressed with insert, red vinyl. (UP079)
CULT CRIME - Gone Too Long b/w Stompin' on Your Flowers 45
Debut single from this new local outfit, and it sounds like 1981: a raw, driving attack that draws equally on tough Seventies punk, oi, and first-wave US hardcore, quick-paced and snotty, delivering hooky, memorable songs. HARDCORE ROCK'N'ROLL in the southern Ontario tradition of Career Suicide, Plasticheads, Imploders, Golden Shitters etc. One-time edition of 300 copies in pocket sleeve with insert. Quality pressing on black vinyl. (UP076)
